Bo-Katan Kryze is a prominent Mandalorian warrior in the Star Wars universe, introduced in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. She initially served as a lieutenant in Death Watch, a violent Mandalorian splinter group aiming to restore the warrior culture and overthrow the pacifist government of Mandalore.
Initially loyal to Pre Vizsla, the leader of Death Watch, Bo-Katan eventually became disillusioned by their alliance with Darth Maul. She refused to recognize Maul's leadership after he seized control of Mandalore, leading her to fight against him and his criminal syndicate.
Throughout the Clone Wars and the Imperial era, Bo-Katan strived to unite the scattered Mandalorian clans and reclaim Mandalore's former glory. She briefly ruled Mandalore with the Darksaber, an ancient Mandalorian weapon, but lost it, leading to a curse that plunged her people into hardship.
Later, she worked with Din Djarin to rebuild Mandalore and restore her honor. Her actions throughout the series reveal her as a complex character driven by a strong sense of duty, unwavering loyalty to her people, and a desire to reclaim her heritage.
